Halzae: Heroes of Divinity is a free-to-play MOBA with a primary focus on PVP combat. You must choose between a rooster of different champions and abilities and fight in the various godly arenas. Let’s see how the games fares.
What to expect
I struggle to find anything to say about Halzae, either positive or negative, as currently, the game is barren of players, and for an exclusively multiplayer PVP game that is worrying.
From the little I have played I can say the following: The default controls are weirdly set, but fortunately you can change them on the settings screen, the heroes seem to be just character models as they don’t have anything distinctive other than that, the ability rooster is shared between characters and seem to have little variety, and the game only supports custom games.
I would say something about the gameplay but I from the time I’ve played I struggle to find a single game to play in or a single player to play with. The game just came to steam, and it already seems deserted.
The Maps seem like copies of each other but with different themes related to the ancient Gods. There are orbs of “mana” scattered across the map, and in the centre a giant orb, which must serve some gameplay purpose, but with no players to experiment it with, I can’t really say.
I suspect that even with players the maps would get boring over time as they have the exact same layout, but, again, with no players, there is nothing I can really opinionated about.
