Have you ever considered killing another human? Perhaps we should enter that discussion, but when you think of it – it is not that hard. If you toss the morale aside, we are pretty weak and vulnerable. In fact, there are millions of ways how we could end our journey. Hitman 2 enables you to see a huge portion of them in its virtual world.
Yes, It Is a Remake and a Sequel
Just in case you missed, Hitman 2 is both the sequel and a remake. We already had Hitman 2, but this one is a new and improved formula with enhanced graphics and new gameplay features. In its essence, it is still the good old Agent 47 and you trying to come up with creative methods to kill your next target.
The in-game world does have some specifics that might not closely resemble reality. For example, anyone can be killed so that you can use their clothes as a camouflage. If their dead body is found, the crowd will panic for a bit and proceed to minding their own business.
Once you get used to how the world works in Hitman 2 and give up on insisting on reality, it will be much easier for you to enjoy the game. And trust us, the game is great! Its crucial advantage is a wide range of options and the fact that you can get as creative as you want. If you ever wanted to dress in a pink flamingo costume and kill someone, now is the right time!
A Storyline Inside a Storyline Inside a Storyline
You will be playing as Agent 47 that is up against the “Shadow Client.” Aside from the general plotline, each mission has a story of its own. Within every mission, you have additional mini storylines that you can play. The wide range of options is what makes this game special. A person of interest may lead you to another potential victim and so on. The opportunities for killing them are endless and it is up to you to be creative.
Even when you pass a mission, the chances are that you should come back to play other mini stories. Consider them as side quests, but know that they are worth playing as they can upgrade your character and secure new equipment and clothing.
Hitman 2 also features multiplayer modes. You might be familiar with the Sniper Showdown in which you can show your friends who controls a sniper better. There is also the Ghost Mode where you will compete against another gamer’s ghost. He can influence your world and your goal is to be faster than him in eliminating targets.
